Middle school runners race at Six Sigma

Middletown claims second, fourth, sixth on 2.08-mile course

LOWER LAKE >> Middle school cross country teams from Middletown, Kelseyville and Upper Lake took part in a race Thursday at Six Sigma Ranch and Winery.

The course length was 2.08 miles.

Among those results reported to Lake County Sports, Middletown runners Jackson Lau (14 minutes, 40 seconds), Ariana Granados (16:51) and Inara Vice Chesnut (18:38) placed second, fourth and sixth, respectively.

Among other Middletown runners, Ryan Brame was 10^th in 19:01, Hailey Stetson was 13^th in 20:23, Ava Cockrill was 14^th in 21:11, and Ashlynn Zolensky was 15^th in 22:46.

“The entire MMS team ran exceptionally well and finished strong, giving absolute maximum effort to secure impressive results,” Middletown head coach Kaytlin Zolensky said. “I could not be happier to see their hard work shine through.”
