Middletown girls soccer notches third straight non-league victory

CALISTOGA >> Ally Cherry scored twice and the Middletown High School girls soccer team posted a season-best third straight win, 2-0, over the Calistoga Wildcats in non-league action Wednesday in Calistoga.
Middletown (4-3) pushed back above the .500 mark.
“These girls have been working hard to find their groove and rhythm with each other,” Middletown head coach Cassi Clark said. “Tonight their hard work paid off.
Cherry’s first goal was assisted by Thaly Rodriguez Meza.
Middletown hosts an undefeated St. Bernard (5-0-1) team on Friday at 3 p.m.
