Team members compete at USA Kids Freestyle State Championships

FRESNO >> CORE Wrestling Club members Colin Crow and Kaitlyn Crow each brought home second-place bear trophies from the USA Kids Freestyle State Championships held May 29-31 in Fresno.
Colin Crow went 3-1 with three technical falls, scoring 31 team points overall. Kaitlyn Crow went 2-1, scoring 21 team points.
“These two wrestlers put it all together out there and showed tremendous grit,” CORE coach Danny Cuellar said.
Also competing for CORE were Eric Holley and Jesse Richardson IV.
“They had some tough matches and learned lessons for next season,” Cuellar said. “I couldn’t be more proud and honored as a CORE coach. It’s not a race, it’s a marathon, and we’ll be ready for what the future brings.”
