Isaac Delgado, Ryker Gotz score goals for Broncos in 2-0 victory over Upper Lake

UPPER LAKE >> Isaac Delgado and Ryker Gotz scored goals to lift the Middletown Middle School co-ed soccer team to a 2-0 win over Upper Lake on Monday afternoon in Upper Lake.
It was the regular-season finale for the Broncs (7-1 league, 8-1 overall).
Delgado assisted on Gotz’s goal while Yebra assisted on Delgado’s goal.
Middletown opens play May 13 against a team to be determined in the Lake County Junior High Athletic Association playoffs.

Terrace 4, Obsidian 2
At Lower Lake, Terrace Middle School beat Obsidian, handing the Bears only their second league loss.
Marco Soto had a goal and an assist for Obsidian. Adrian Perez had the Bears’ other goal while Angel Sanchez had an assist.
“It was a loss at home,” Obsidian head coach Andres Hernandez said. “We came out strong in the first half, but in the second half we made too many defensive errors and Terrace was able to capitalize on them.”
Obsidian is 4-2 in league play.
Obsidian hits the road Wednesday to play Mountain Vista in Kelseyville at 4:30 p.m.
