Kelseyville, Lower Lake well represented on 2025 All-League boys soccer team

LAKE COUNTY >> Kelseyville senior Sebastian Cacho and Lower Lake senior Agustin Sanchez are two of the three most valuable players on the 2025 edition of the All-North Central League I boys soccer team as recently selected by the league’s coaches.

Kelseyville, Lower Lake and Fort Bragg tied for the league championship this season and each team had a player receive MVP honors. For Fort Bragg, it was junior Oscar Estrella.

First team

Fort Bragg and Kelseyville each landed three players on the All-League first team while Lower Lake had two and Middletown, Willits and Upper Lake one each.

From Kelseyville, first-team honors were accorded to Jair Inostroza Carrillo, a junior, and seniors Luis Alvarado and Miguel Corona; to Lower Lake sophomore Anthony Garcia and his junior teammate Daniel Fernandez; to Middletown senior Tony Juarez; to Upper Lake junior Alan Alvarado; to Fort Bragg junior Tyler Rhoads and his senior teammates Johnn Cazares and Ivan Sanchez; and to Willits freshman Hector Calderon.

Second team

Nine of 13 players named to the All-League second team were from Lake County, led by the Kelseyville trio of junior Gerardo Garcia and seniors Diego Rico and Diego Serrato-Hernandez, and the Lower Lake trio of freshman Adrian Guzman, junior Samuel Santana and senior Juan Perez. Other county players honored were junior Levi Ewing of Clear Lake, senior Jaden Nunez of Upper Lake, and senior Tristian Chairez of Middletown.

Fort Bragg also landed three players on the second team. They were junior Matteo Caccamo and seniors Joel Jimenez and Benjamin Schiro. From Willits, senior Jessiah Vincent was honored.

Honorable mentions

Of the nine honorable mentions bestowed, six went to Lake County players. They were seniors Miguel Quintero and Will Hoskins of Middletown, junior Exiel Godinez of Upper Lake, junior Gael Moreno of Clear Lake, junior Kevin Mendoza of Lower Lake, and senior Ivan Carrillo of Kelseyville. Other honorable mentions went to junior Ivan Estrada and senior Edgar Chavez of Willits, and to senior Alexander Reis of Fort Bragg.
