Lower Lake High School student competes in Trailblazer Grand Prix, MMX Hare Scramble

RANCHO CORDOVA >> Chalk up two more impressive motocross showings for Lower Lake High School’s Rafe Wallace.
Wallace captured a pair of first-place finishes as well as a second Sunday during the Trailblazer Grand Prix held at the Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova, that coming on the heels of a strong showing March 1 during the MMX Hare Scramble in Marysville.
Trailblazer Grand Prix
After multiple motos and a long day of racing, Wallce won two separate divisions and finished second in a third. He ranked first overall among all riders.
MMX Hare Scramble
Wallace won the C200 class and powered his way to second overall out of 76 riders, battling through a stacked field and tough conditions to land on the podium.
Upcoming
Wallace returns to action this coming Sunday at the District 36 Yuba River Run at E Street MX in Marysville.
