Middletown Wrestling Club sends 11 to NorCal Elementary State Tournament

ORLAND >> Brothers Xavier and Andres Yebra of the Middletown Wrestling Club came home with championships Saturday from the NorCal Elementary State Tournament in Orland.
Xavier Yebra was making his return from a collarbone injury that sidelined him the last seven weeks. He had just one practice to get ready for the Orland competition.
Like Xavier, Andres Yebra also went undefeated during the competition.
Middletown sent 11 wrestlers to Orland, including two who were representing another Lake County team.
Next up for Middletown Wrestling Club members is the state championships in Fresno.
