Broncos defeat Terrace Middle School, advances to tournament finals Saturday

KELSEYVILLE >> It’ll be Middletown Middle School against Mountain Vista Middle School in both the A and B championship games of the Lake County Junior High Athletic League girls basketball postseason tournament Saturday in Kelseyville.
Middletown A punched its ticket to the finals with a 36-28 victory over Terrace School of Lakeport on Friday. Sophia Azevedo led the way with 12 points while Katera Gotz added nine points and Sophia Perez had eight.
Earlier Friday it was Terrace beating Obsidian 40-23 in the quarterfinals.
