Terrace erases 3-1 halftime deficit in home game against Obsidian

LAKEPORT >> Trailing 3-1 at halftime, the Terrace Vikings rallied in the second half to tie the Obsidian Bears 4-4 in co-ed middle school soccer action in Lakeport.
“We had quite a few errors and some missed opportunities, but they fought back to recover against a tough team,” Terrace head coach Becca Joyce said of her players. “It was a hell of a game. I’m looking forward to seeing them in the playoffs.”
Gustavo Valdez scored twice for Terrace, and Eric Chavez and Mano Garcia also had goals. Garcia scored late in the game to tie it at 4-4.

Terrace is 1-3-4 in league play.
