First-place medals went to Colin Crow, who won the 10-under, 59-pound division (5-0 with four pins, one tech fall) and the 10-under, 63.3-pound division (2-0, one pin); Eric Holley, who won the 8-under, 53-pound division (2-0, two pins); Fredrick Jeffries, who won the 12-under, 135-pound division (2-0 with two pins); Kaitlyn Crow, who won the 12-under, 78-pound division (2-0, one pin) and the 14-under girls division for 85-90 pounds (4-0, four pins); Will Villa, who won the 10-under, 71-pound division (4-0 with two pins); Tucker Heywood, who won the 12-under, 108-pound division (2-0); Wyatt Hooten, who won the 12-under, 74-pound division (5-0, five pins); Sampson Wetmore, who won the 12-under, 92-pound division (3-0, one pin), and Ryder White Eagle, who won the 14-under, 132-pound division (5-0, five pins). “There was such good fundamental wrestling going on, it’s hard to pinpoint a certain wrestler, but here is one that stands out,” CORE head coach Danny Cuellar said of Kaitlyn Crow and her two first-place finishes. “She wrestled in two weight brackets, one was her age group, the second was the middle school group where she gave up 10-15 pounds and was also three to four years youngers as well. Boy, did she show out her will to keep wrestling no matter the situation. She shows her coaches she has what it takes for the next level.” Second-place medals went to Liliana Williams (14-under, 115-120 pounds) and Ryan Ramirz (10-under, 71 pounds). Finishing third was Skyler Ramirez (6-under, 43-49 pounds). Fourth-place finishers were Timothy Williams (12-under, 74 pounds) and Jaydee Hooten (6-under, 53-56 pounds).
