Club competes in Lions Scramble Tournament in Brentwood, wins eight medals

BRENTWOOD >> Kameron Colston, Shiloh Fourie, Amias Kennedy and Andres Yebra all came away with first-place medals Sunday as 12 members of the Middletown Wrestling Club brought home eight medals from the Lions Scramble Tournament in Brentwood.

Kolston (14-under, 127 pounds), Fourie (6-under, 30 pounds), Kennedy (6-under, 51 pounds) and Yebra (14-under, 84 pounds) accounted for half of Middletown’s medals.

Second-place medals went to Cormac Lloyd (10-under, 73 pounds) and Carson Mackey (10-under, 73 pounds) while Zade Hood (10-under, 48 pounds) and Bradley Parks (12-under, 72 pounds) came in third.

Finishing just out of the medal hunt were Hunter Fanucchi, Elias Hood, Melody Lloyd and Brooklyn Narron-Mackey.

Middletown hosts its own tournament Sunday, Jan. 4.
