Jay T Farrell brings home firsts in freestyle, greco divisions at Rumble in the Den

BRENTWOOD >> Seven Lake County wrestlers competed with Spring Hills Performance Center – The Best Wrestler during the 2026 MDWA Rumble in the Den on Saturday in Brentwood.
Jay T Farrell won two weight classes, taking the freestyle 14-under division (110.2-117.6 pounds) and the greco 14-under division (110.2-124.4 pounds).
Brantley Paminto won the freestyle 12-under division (95.6-101.8 pounds) and was second in greco (95.6-101.8 pounds).
Maverick Paminto placed first in the greco 10-under division (67-70 pounds) and second in the freestyle 10-under division (67-70 pounds).
Brayden Paminto captured the freestyle 14-under division (88-94.6 pounds) and earned the most team points (33).
Gabriel Navarro won the 16-under division (103.6-107.4 pounds) and was third in the greco 16-under division (104.2-109.4 pounds).
Cristian Navarro finished first in the freestyle 10-under division (61-63.4 pounds) and placed third in the greco 10-under division (60.6-66.2 pounds).
Brodie McDaniel placed second in the 14-under greco division (83-86.2 pounds) and third in freestyle 14-under division (80.2-88 pounds).
Spring Hills had the most technical falls (48) during the tournament and also ranked first in combined pins/tech falls (74).
