County wrestlers join Spring Hills at SAWA Jr. Mustang tournament in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO >> Four Lake County wrestlers were part of the Spring Hills Performance Center team competing in the SAWA Jr. Mustang tournament Sunday in Sacramento.
Brantley Paminto secured first-place medals in two divisions – 91-98.6 pounds and 108-113 pounds. Paminto had the second-highest number of pins (five) in the tournament, accomplished in a total time of 4 minutes, 44 seconds.
Maverick Paminto also pinned his way to two first-place medals – 57.8-62 pounds and 58-63 pounds. He posted the most pins (seven) during the tournament and also had a technical fall. The pins were accomplished in a total time of 8 minutes, 26 seconds.
Brayden Paminto placed second in the middle school division for 84-88 pounds and fifth in the division for 88-105 pounds.
Competing in his first tournament of the year, Mattix Paminto placed fifth in the division for 45-50 pounds.
Spring Hills placed second out of 35 teams for most pins (12).
