No. 2-seeded Lancers beat top-seeded Middletown for championship

UPPER LAKE >> Mountain Vista Middle School’s B volleyball team upset No. 1 seed Middletown in the championship match of the Lake County Junior High Athletic League tournament Saturday at Upper Lake High School.
The Lancers, seeded second in the tournament, rallied for a 23-25, 25-22, 15-10 victory. Mountain Vista beat Obsidian Middle School (Clearlake) in the semifinals.
B-team members are Kaelyn LeBoy, Tiana Gleason, Cassie Keyes, Lilly Rico, Payton Bartholf, Emma Escarsega, Kori Koschick, Amelia Kennedy, Shyann Beverlin, Fiona White, Arianna Patti and Andra Valadez.
