A, B squads post straight-set home victories

MIDDLETOWN >> Middletown Middle School scored a pair of volleyball wins over Lucerne Middle School on Monday at Middletown Middle School.
The Broncos’ A team prevailed 25-18, 26-24 behind five kills and 11 digs from Anaya Kilstrom, 11 service points and five digs from Lily Day, and eight service points and three kills from Cassidy Duval.
Middletown’s B team also won in straight sets, 25-11, 25-18.
“We have a rather large squad and it was nice to get playing time for everyone, and they all contributed tonight,” Middletown B head coach Niki Emberson said.
Middletown’s teams are on the road Wednesday to play Terrace School in Lakeport.
