Quarterback Vinnie Steffen runs for two scores, throws for another in 33-8 win

LOWER LAKE >> Four different players scored touchdowns for Lower Lake’s pee wee squad in a 33-8 win over Fort Bragg on Saturday during Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League action at Lower Lake.
The Trojans (4-1-1) amassed 300 yards of offense led by quarterback Vinnie Steffen, who rushed for 12- and 34-yard touchdowns while also throwing a TD pass to Sebastian James. Wyatt Hooten led the ground game with 129 yards and a TD.
Other top rushers were Erian Gonzalez with 67 yards and a touchdown, Steffen with 43 yards, and Maxxwell Wilkins with 27 yards.
Isiah Dominguez registered a sack on defense. Wilkins and Christiano Lopez had a shared sack that resulted in a forced fumble, and Lopez added another solo ack. William Villa Jr. also forced a fumble.
Lower Lake hosts undefeated Napa (6-0) next Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
