Under-16 softball team hits the road again next Saturday

LIVE OAK >> The Lake County Fury under-16 traveling softball team went 1-1 during a three-team round-robin tournament Saturday in Live Oak.
530 Drop Zone beat Lake County Fury 14-0, but the Fury came back to beat the Redding Heat 5-3.
“We came out a lot better in the second game, had great attitudes and we hit the ball,” Fury head coach Kris Bal said. “We made great defensive plays.”
No individual stats were available from either game.
“We’re getting better and better every time we touch the field,” Bal said.
The Fury (4-8) return to action next Saturday in Pleasant Hill where they will play the Pleasant Hill Panthers and the Stompers.
