KELSEYVILLE >> Winning pitcher Ali Bobbit went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs Thursday as the Obsidian Middle School softball team beat Mountain Vista 13-5 in Kelseyville.
It was the season opener for the Bears (1-0).
“Our bats picked up when we needed them to,” Obsidian head coach Luis Perez said.
Kinley Anderson and Shayla McGrath went 3-for-4 for Obsidian. Aniya Myers added two more hits.
Bobbit struck out 11 in six innings.
Mountain Vista statistics weren’t reported.
The Bears return to action Friday in Middletown.
