Middletown Middle School A team knocks off Terrace Middle School

LAKEPORT >> Emma Davis turned in a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds while Anaya Kilstrom added another 13 points Monday as the Middletown Middle School A girls basketball team defeated Terrace Middle School 49-21 in Lakeport.
Middletown (6-0 league, 11-2 overall) opened up a 22-14 halftime lead before putting the game away with a 19-6 second half.
“It was a full team effort for sure and Anaya Kilstrom’s defense was an essential piece,” Middletown head coach Shannon Williams said. “All around, my girls are playing smart, unselfish basketball with a focus on defense.”
Grace Williams led the team with eight steals and also added eight points. Lilliaunna Reyes added six points and five rebounds.
Amelie Davis led Terrace School with 11 points.
Middletown returns to action Wednesday against Mountain Vista Middle School in Kelseyville.
In B-team action Monday night, Sophie Perez scored 13 points, pulled down nine steals and had four steals as Middletown beat Terrace 21-4. Camila Galvan added three points in the win.
Middletown’s B team plays Wednesday in Lucerne.
