Upper Lake beats Obsidian Middle School in A, B matches

UPPER LAKE >> Upper Lake Middle School volleyball scored a pair of league wins over visiting Obsidian Middle School of Clearlake on Monday at the Upper Lake Middle School gym.
Upper Lake’s A team won 25-20, 25-13 while the B team prevailed 25-23, 25-17.
In A-team action, setter Kylie Solorio recorded six aces and three kills. Other team leaders were Jordan Parker with and Marina Quiett, both with five aces and three kills.
“My girls have a long way since day one,” Upper Lake head coach Andrea Quiett said.
In B-team action, Mariah Hoaglen led the Wildcats with 10 aces and three kills while Taylan Sharp finished with seven aces. Addie Schaefers had one ace and one kill and Adrianne Salinas served up three aces. Leyla Stillman and Lilly Specials each helped out with one ace.
