Middletown Wrestling Club members finish fifth, ninth in Fresno

FRESNO >> The Yebra brothers, Andres and Xavier, represented the Middletown Wrestling Club at the Cadet Folkstyle State Tournament on Saturday at the Selland Arena in Fresno and both placed in the top 10.
Andres Yebra placed fifth at 94 pounds while Xavier Yebra finished ninth at 120 pounds.
Head coach Dominic Fanucchi said both wrestlers “left it all on the mat” during the competition.
“I am very proud of both boys,” Fanucchi said. “I am excited to see their high school wrestling careers take off next season.”
Added father and assistant coach Ed Yebra, “We have been training since the boys were 6 in this amazing sport. I love both my boys and am very proud of how they both wrestled this weekend.”
