Lake County sends three squads to West Coast even in Morgan Hill

MORGAN HILL >> WickFit 7-on-7 football of Lake County sent three different teams to the 2026 Passing Down West Coast Regionals held in Morgan Hill over the weekend.
Lake County was represented by a 12-and-under program, a 14-and-under program, and a high school program. Players came from throughout the competed in the tournament, which featured more than 100 teams.
According to head coach Hokulani Wickard, some of the standouts were Kam Richardson (Lower Lake fifth-grader), LaDontea Sellers (Lower Lake sixth-grader), Adriyan Diaz (Lower Lake eighth-grader), Braylen Fanucci (Lower Lake eighth-grader), Jay Lee (Middletown ninth-grader), Kimo Brown (Kelseyville 11th-grader), and Jamisen Jackson (Middletown 11th-grader).
Brown, quarterback of the Kelseyville High School varsity team, threw six touchdowns in two games while Jackson, a member of Middletown High School’s section championship squad this past season, had four interceptions.
