Four team members compete in Takedown Before Christmas

LOWER LAKE >> Brantley Paminto, Maverick Paminto and Brodie McDaniel of the Spring Hills Wrestling Club all came away with weight division wins Sunday during the Takedown Before Christmas at Lower Lake High School.

The tournament was sponsored by the Gladiator Wrestling Club.

Brantley Paminto won the fourth/fifth-grade 100-pound division, a 14-man bracket. He also had the fastest tech fall in the 257-wrestler field at 53 seconds.

Maverick Paminto won the second/third-grade division, an eight-man bracket.

McDaniel topped the field in the middle school girls 82-pound division and also finished second in the 83-pounds middle school TOC division. She posted the eighth-most tech falls in the tournament.

Brayden Paminto added a second-place finish in the 89-pound middle school TOC division.
