FOLSOM >> Members of the Middletown Wrestling Club brought home seven medals from the seventh annual Bulldawg Bash on Sunday in Folsom.

Second-place medals went to Shiloh Fourie in the 6-and-under division (36-43 pounds) and to Kian Woods in the 10-and-under division (75-88 pounds). Woods also notched the fifth-fastest pin of the day at 11 seconds, a “beautiful blast double,” according to coach Dominic Fanucchi.

Third-place medals went  to Logan Parks in the 6-and-under division (36-43 pounds); to Ryan Fanucchi in the 8-and-under division (46-50 pounds); to Carson Mackey in the 10-and-under division (95-104 pounds); to Hunter Fanucchi in the 10-and-under division (60.9-66 pounds); and to Andres Yebra in the TOC 95-pound weight class where he used “a beautiful cradle,” according to Fanucchi, to secure third place.

“Andre is on fire this year,” Fanucchi said. “The kid has the drive and the mental toughness, better than most I see competing. I am very proud of him and excited to see where this season takes him.”

Falling just shy of a medal in fourth place were Zander Woods, Jaxx Alter, Cormac Loyd and Diana Glasgow, and fifth-place finishers Melody Loyd, Lucilda Sanchz, Zethanie Kohl, Nolan Breland, Brooklynn Narron-Mackey, Bradley Parks, Tammy Gardiner, Troy Johnston, Cary Glasgow Jr, and Kameron Colton.

“Middletown is very proud of all of our wrestlers this weekend,” Fanucchi said.
