North Coast Section Division 2 qualifier takes place at Foxtail North, low 18 advance

ROHNERT PARK >> Middletown High School’s Bodhi Moore, the Coastal Mountain Conference South scoring champion in golf, tees off Monday morning in the North Coast Section Division 2 qualifier at Foxtail North in Rohnert Park.

Moore, a senior, is one of 144 golfers entered. The low 18 individuals advance to the Division I Championships the following Monday at Rancho Solano Golf Course in Fairfield.

Moore fired the low round in all eight CMC South matches held this season as the Mustangs placed third in the South standings following back-to-back championship seasons in 2023 and 2024. The John Berry Award winner tees off on the 15th hole at 8:30 a.m. when play begins with a shotgun start.

Moore is playing in one of 36 foursomes. He is the only Lake County golfer entered. CMC South champion St. Helena is represented by Jack Robinson, Burleigh Weeman, Lele Hanna, Andew Mendez and Russell Wilms. Moore’s foursome includes Theo Hahn of Mendocino, Jake Gardner of McKinleyille and Zach Henschel of Montgomery.

Other CMC South golfers in the field are Lucca Modica, Eli Goldberg and Lucas Vaio of Sonoma Academy and Dilyan Lopez of Technology.

The Division 2 qualifier also features golfers from Albany, Alhambra, Analy, Arcata, Archie Williams, Athenian, Berean Christian, Branson, Cardinal Newman, Clayton Valley, College Park, College Prep, Dublin, El Cerrito, Emerald, Encinal, Fort Bragg, Fortuna, Freedom, Granada, Head-Royce, Healdsburg, International, Irvington, Justin-Siena, Las Lomas, Maria Carrillo,,\ Marin Academy, Marin Catholic, McKinleyville, Mendocino, Miramonte, Monte Vista, Montgomery, Moreau Catholic, Northgate, Novato, Piedmont, Pinole Valley, Redwood Christian, San Domenico, San Marin, San Rafael, University (San Francisco), Sonoma Valley, St. Bernard’s, St. Joseph Notre Dame, Stuart Hall, Terra Linda, Ukiah, Vallejo, Vintage, Washington and Willits.
