WINDSOR >> Coastal Mountain Conference South golf teams completed the first 18 holes of the 36-hole CMC Championships on Thursday at the par-72 Windsor Golf Club.

Middletown’s Bodhi Moore again shot the low round – he’s been the medalist in six of the first seven South matches this season – with a 7-over-par 79. Sonoma Academy’s Lucca Modica had the next lowest round at 83 followed by St. Helena’s Burleigh Weeman (85) and Jack Robinson (89).

CMC South champion St. Helena (23-1) won its fifth conference match by holding off a strong challenge from Sonoma Academy, 362-369. Middletown was third with 396, Technology had 409 and Kelseyville 414.

Kelseyville had a full team (at least four golfers) for the first time in three weeks and was led by Caleb Lopez.

“We had all six players available today for the first time in a few weeks,” Kelseyville head coach Tim Conrad said. “Not a great day for us, but Caleb Lopez shot 98, which is his best round of the year.”

The final 18 holes of the CMC Championships take place Monday at Valley of the Moon Golf Club in Santa Rosa.

St. Helena’s team advances to the North Coast Section Championship Division 2 qualifier on May 12 at Foxtail North in Rohnert Park. A handful of individual qualifiers also move on to the first round of sectional play, including Middletown’s Moore. The other individuals will be determined following the conclusion of the CMC Championships on Monday.
