ROHNERT PARK >> Winning pitcher Kolton Costlow and relievers Tyler Galamay and Colton Karp combined on a one-hitter Wednesday as the Middletown High School junior varsity baseball team beat Credo 11-1 in a five-inning non-league game at Rohnert Park.

Middletown scored six times in the top of the fifth inning to go up 11-1. After Credo failed to score in the bottom half, the game was called because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Costlow allowed the only Credo hit and run (unearned) during his two-innings on the mound. He struck out and walked none. Galamay worked the third and fourth, striking out two and walking one, and Karp finished up in the fifth, striking out two and walking two.

Costlow went 2-for-3 with a triple to lead the Mustangs at the plate. Johnny Finney went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs while Valentin Jimenez and Austin Davis both went 1-for-3 with a RBI. Karp (0-for-2) also drove in a run.

Middletown plays a North Central League I game Friday in Lower Lake at 4 p.m.
