Winning pitcher Bella Stillman goes 2-for-3 in 6-3 win over Eagle Peak

REDWOOD VALLEY >> Winning pitcher Bella Stillman struck out five while also going 2-for-3 with a double at the plate as the Upper Lake Middle School softball team beat Eagle Peak Middle School 6-3 on Tuesday in Redwood Valley.
It was the season opener for Upper Lake (1-0).
“The girls had some first-game jitters that we got out of our system today,” Upper Lake assistant coach Wyatt Hensley said.
Sabrina Wenning went 2-for-3 for the Wildcats while Jordyn Parker went 1-for-3 with a triple and a RBI.
Upper Lake returns to action April 3 against Baechtel Grove in Willits.
