KELSEYVILLE >> Winning pitcher Reese Johnson struck out eight in four innings as the Kelseyville High School junior varsity baseball team opened the season with a 7-2 non-league win in six innings over the Colusa Redhawks on Tuesday in Kelseyville.
Bryson Wood and Jorge Gonzalez each pitched one inning in relief.
Elijah Watkins had a double and reached base three times for the Knights (1-0). Wood added a double and scored twice.
