Gladiators Wrestling Club competes in pair of Saturday tournaments

MEDFORD, Ore. >> The Gladiators Wrestling Club placed 15th out of 82 teams Saturday during the America’s Most Wanted Tournament in Medford, Oregon.
Other team members also competed Saturday at the NorCal Elementary Championships in Orland.
During the America’s Most Wanted Tournament, Brantley Paminto pinned all three of his opponents to claim the championship plaque. He improved to 62-9 on the season while also recording his 50th pin.
Maverick Paminto and Kailaya Philpot came away with second-place finishes while Jameson Philpot, Brayden Paminto, Colin Crow and Kaitlyn Crow took third. Elijah Tucker finished fourth.
At Orland, Logun Whittle went 5-0 with four pins and one technical fall to win his weight division. He is 45-8 on the season.
William Villa came home with a second-place medal and Gary Oakes with a third-place medal.
