Arredondo’s 20 points pace boys; girls improve record to 6-0

HAMILTON CITY >> Nick Arredondo scored 20 points to help lift the Kelseyville High School junior varsity boys basketball team to its first win of the season, a 71-28 rout of Hamilton City, in non-league action Wednesday night in Hamilton City.

Joey Watson (11 points) and Gordon Astrup (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Knights, who rested their starters much of the game to keep the score from becoming even more lopsided.

Kelseyville is home Thursday night to take on Justin-Siena of Napa.

In girls JV action Wednesday, Kelseyville improved to 6-0 on the season with a 32-9 victory that featured eight points and eight rebounds from Grace Hobbs. Aubree Sperber added six points and three rebounds while Kendra Devries had five points.

Kelseyville opens its North Central League I schedule on the road Tuesday night in Lower Lake.
