LAKEPORT >> Logan Percaccio’s touchdown run and conversion run with less than a minute to play lifted the Clear Lake High School junior varsity football team to an 8-0 victory over the Lower Lake Trojans on Friday at Don Owens Stadium in Lakeport.
Collin Ingram had five tackles and one interception on defense as the Cardinals improved to 4-1-1. Jesus Rodriguez added 5 ½ total tackles plus a sack, and Zyaire Armstrong had four tackles, including one for loss.
“It was a good battle all game,” Clear Lake head coach Derek Milhaupt said. “We put together good drive later in the fourth and we were able to find the end zone. We were missing some key players this week. I am proud of the guys who stepped up late and made some big plays.”
John Pasalo and Vinny Mayo were Clear Lake’s top rushers.
