Cardinals drop road NCL I interlock match to Eagles

CLOVERDALE >> Cloverdale turned back Clear Lake 25-23, 25-18, 25-15 in a North Central League I interlock varsity volleyball match Wednesday in Cloverdale.
Aniya Jauregui led the Cardinals with six kills and three aces, Ashlynn Cruz had five kills and two aces, Jazmine Wiebusch recorded 18 assists, Paisley Himenes had eight digs, and Avery Fiske added four kills and four aces.
Results of the junior varsity match were not reported.
Clear Lake (2-10) hosts Williams on Thursday at 6 p.m.
