Lopez scores 21 points, Arias 13 more in first-round loss at Jaycees Tournament

CRESCENT CITY >> Mountain Vista Middle School’s eighth-grade boys basketball team fell 57-46 to UPrep of Redding in the opening round of the Crescent City Jaycees Tournament on Friday night in Crescent City.
Inteus Lopez scored 21 points and grabbed four rebounds for Mountain Vista while Anthony Arias had 13 points and three rebounds.
Mountain Vista plays Ferndale in the consolation bracket Saturday.
