Kelseyville High junior had good weekend at Corning rodeo

CORNING >> Kelseyville High School junior Josie Keithly had a big weekend competing in the California High School Rodeo Association District 2 at the Rolling Hills Equestrian Center in Corning.
Keithly had a winning run of 18.052 seconds in barrel racing during Saturday’s action, beating out 61 riders aboard Blondie. She also teamed up with Josie Ryken to win the team roping event Sunday.
Keithly earned points for the weekend in goat tying, poles and barrels . She also won the Friday night Jackpot barrels on Blondie.
