Lyle Valador goes 3-for-3 with two-run triple in lopsided victory

WHEATLAND >> The Kelseyville Majors All-Stars beat Wheatland 12-2 on Sunday at Tom Abe Park in Wheatland, fueled by a 13-hit attack that included a 3-for-3 day at the plate by Lyle Valador.
Valador’s two-run triple during a three-run Kelseyville first inning put the team ahead to stay.
Winning pitcher Jessiah Mota allowed four hits and two runs over four innings. He struck out eight and walked none. Chandler Johnson and Brice Gard also had multiple hits for Kelseyville, which didn’t commit an error. Elliot Wheeler handled all six of his chances cleanly.
Other Kelseyville team members are Anthony Lopez, Ayden Templeton, Camden Wylie, Easton Bennett, Jameson Wood, Rogan Templeton and Xander Jones.
Eric Johnson is the head coach. He is assisted by Oscar Lopez and Brent Bennett.
