Alessandra Zavala, Amelie Davis spark offense for Vikings

LAKEPORT >> Alessandra Zavala went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs to help lift the Terrace Middle School softball team to a 17-7 win over Eagle Peak Middle School on Thursday in Lakeport.
“It was a good team effort,” Terrace coach Shady Cerezo said. “We were able to have everyone play and got valuable in-game experience. We worked a lot of walks, and our heads-up base running is what proved to be the difference in the game.”
Amelie Davis went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs for the Vikings. Winning pitcher Amelia Vezeau struck out one.
