Kelseyville JVs improve to 2-0 in league

Knights score eight runs in first two innings during 10-7 home victory

KELSEYVILLE >> Kelseyville scored eight runs in the first two innings while beating the St. Helena Saints 10-7 in North Central League I junior varsity baseball action Friday in Kelseyville.

St. Helena scored four times in the sixth inning to make it close.

“This was a hard-fought game,” Kelseyville head coach Sean Navarro aid as the Knights improved to 2-0 in league play and 4-1 overall.

Reese Johnson was the winning pitcher, working the first four innings.

Case Pivniska went 2-for-3 with a double and Carson Stone went 2-for-2.

Kelseyville is on the road Monday to play Middletown at 4 p.m.
