Olivia Raabe, Olivia Hommer rally to take first doubles match

MENDOCINO >> Kelseyville High School’s tennis team improved to 2-0 in the Coastal Mountain Conference North standings with a 5-0 road win Friday afternoon against the Mendocino Cardinals.
The most exciting match of the day was Olivia Raabe’s and Olivia Hommer’s come-from-behind 4-6, 6-1, 8-6 victory in first doubles. The two teams played a tiebreaker in lieu of a third set because of time constraints.
The Knights won all three singles matches in straight sets. Maddy Borghesani won 6-0, 6-4 in first singles, Ryan Taylor rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory in second singles, and Riley Lopez prevailed 6-2, 6-3 in third singles.
Kelseyville won second doubles by forfeit.
The Knights are home Tuesday to play Middletown at 4 p.m.
