Middletown graduate helps Mariners snap two-game conference losing streak

MARYSVILLE >> Jaidyn Brown scored eight points in Marin College’s 63-46 Bay Valley Conference win over Yuba College on Wednesday night in Marysville.
Brown, a Middletown High School graduate, sank a pair of 3-pointers and went 2-for-2 at the free-throw line as the Mariners improved to 6-3 in conference action and 11-10 overall. The win snapped a two-game conference losing streak.
Brown also pulled down seven rebounds to go along with three assists and two steals.
Isabella Zepeda led the Mariners with 22 points and MaTaya Sherman added 11 points.
Middletown hosts Laney College on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
