They’ll perform locally in Lake County during Spring Dance Festival in April

SACRAMENTO >> The BiZi Co dance team of Lake County competed in a variety of categories during the Leap Competition Jan. 29-Feb. 1 at in Sacramento.
Twenty-seven members, ages 6-17, took part in four junior solos, four teen solos, one teen duet, two petite small group dances, two teen large group dances, one teen line group dance, three senior small group dances, and six senior solos.
Dancers received four and a half to five stores (five-star maximum) in all of their performances, four judges’ choice awards, one third-place group award, one second-place group award and one first-place group award for the line group dance “circus.”
BiZi Co dance members return to action Feb. 13-15 at the Spotlight competition in Sacramento and again March 5-8 at the Showstopper competition in Alameda. They will also appear locally during the Lake County Art Council-sponsored Spring Dance Festival in April.
