Thirteen Knights honored, including MVPs Regina Rico and Xiomara Arias

LAKE COUNTY >> After rolling through the North Central League I with a 12-0 record this season, it’s no wonder the Kelseyville Knights landed 13 players on the 2025 edition of the All-League team as recently selected by the league’s coaches.
Kelseyville posted the best record by a girls soccer team in school history (22-2).
Sharing most valuable player honors on the All-League team were Kelseyville’s Regina Rico and Xiomara Arias, both seniors.
First team
Of the 11 players named to the All-League first team, six of them were Knights. They were seniors Banesa Villa-Munoz, Kat Wheelan, Arionna Sanderson and Mya Ogo, all seniors, and juniors Mikaela Rico and Kylee Denham.
A trio of players from Middletown, the NCL I and North Coast Section Division 2 runner-up, also made the first-team cut. They were seniors Autumn Clark, Sophie Yebra and Diana Montes.
Rounding out the first team were Willits sophomores Alhina Diaz and Madison Winter.
Second team
Eight of the 10 players named to the All-League second team were Lake County players. Earning those honors were freshman Ximena Herren and juniors Vanessa Reyes and Lexxi Pantaleon of Kelseyville; sophomore Ally Cherry and seniors Karina Lopez and Allyson Pina of Middletown; Clear Lake senior Giselle Carbajal; Upper Lake senior Lexy Peregrina; Willits senior Kate winter; and Fort Bragg senior Natalia Lopez.
Honorable mentions
Receiving honorable mentions on the All-League team were Kelseyville freshman Brooke Poff and senior teammate Jocelyn Olea Vargas; Middletown freshman Kenzie Sheffer and senior teammate Bella Alcantar; Clear Lake senior Tegan Ness; Upper Lake junior Magdely Garcia; Willits freshman Alissa Randrup and senior teammate Lilly Herman; and Fort Bragg seniors Mila Wienstein and Kalin Yanez.
