Lancers go 4-0 to bring home tournament championship

UPPER LAKE >> Mountain Vista Middle School’s A volleyball team won all four of its matches Saturday to claim the championship in the Upper Lake Middle School Spikefest at Upper Lake.
Mountain Vista beat Anderson Valley 25-21, 25-7, Pomolita (Ukiah) 25-17, 25-15 and Terrace (Lakeport) 25-18, 25-14 in pool play. Advancing to the championship match, the Lancer defeated tournament host Upper Lake 25-11, 25-11.
Cassidy Hanson was named the tournament’s most valuable player while teammates Aubrey Mullen and Allyson Leary were named to the All-Tournament team.
