Richardson, Patrick each rush for a pair of touchdowns in blowout victory
LOWER LAKE >> Fredrick Jeffries had a big day for the Lower Lake junior varsity youth football team Saturday in a 32-0 victory over the Cloverdale Chargers at Lower Lake.
Jeffries recovered a fumble to open the game, and he rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown while also passing for 49 yards as Lower Lake improved to 3-1 on the season.
Kameron Richardson added 42 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns while LaDontea Sellers rushed for 65 yards, had 15 receiving yards and scored an extra point. Brian Patrick also had a productive day with 65 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brantley Paminto contributed 34 receiving yards.
Lower Lake led 32-0 at halftime, at which point the 30-point mercy rule went into effect. The Trojans hit the road next Saturday to play undefeated Westshore (4-0) at 5:30 p.m. Pee kickoff is 3:30 p.m. and varsity action begins at 7:30 p.m.
