Trojans open North Central League I campaign with three-set road loss

ROHNERT PARK >> Credo defeated Lower Lake 25-13, 25-23, 25-16 in North Central League I boys volleyball action Thursday night in Rohnert Park.
It was the league opener for the Trojans (0-1 league, 0-2 overall), who are fielding a boys volleyball squad for the first time in school history.
“We were plagued by 18 service errors,” Lower Lake head coach Danessa Udy said. “Any momentum we got going was stopped in its tracks.”
Chistopher Carrillo led the Trojans with 17 assists and Tucker Benson had a team-best six kills. Other kills leaders were Raijhier McNeely with five and Jeremiah Lopez and Jason Gandeza with four apiece.
Lower Lake returns to action March 24 at home against Anderson Valley at 5 p.m.
