Mustangs land five players on All-North Central League I basketball team

LAKE COUNTY >> Middletown High School senior guard Bodhi Moore is the co-most valuable player on the 2025 edition of the All-North Central League I boys basketball team as voted on by the league’s coaches.
Moore shares the honor with St. Helena senior point guard Jack Robinson.
Middletown and St. Helena tied for the NCL I championship this season, both with 12-2 records.
Moore had a banner season for the Mustangs, scoring 616 points, the second-best single-season total in school history behind Tyler Hunt’s 618. He helped lead the Mustangs to school-record 24 wins, a third-place finish in North Coast Section Division 5, and a trip to the NorCals, the school’s first. They finished 24-8 overall.
First team
Jon Hawkins, a junior, and senior Anthony Bowerman of Middletown were named to the All-League first team, joining Kelseyville senior Kyle Watkins, Clear Lake junior Zane McAuley, and St. Helena senior Michele Hanna.
Second team
Three Lake County players were among those receiving second-team honors. Middletown sophomore Harrison Brown, Kelseyville senior Brock Barrick and Clear Lake junior AJ Bruch all made it. They were joined by St. Helena senior Peter Oliver and Cloverdale sophomore Jesus Arizmendi.
Honorable mention
League honorable mentions were bestowed on Middletown junior Jasiah Pike, Upper Lake senior James Beaux Stiritz, Lower Lake sophomore Tucker Benson, St. Helena senior Xander Kelperis, and Fort Bragg sophomore Carter Killion.
By the numbers
Middletown had the most All-League selections with five followed by St. Helena with four. Next were Kelseyville and Clear Lake with two apiece, and Upper Lake, Clear Lake, Lower Lake, Cloverdale with one each.
