KELSEYVILLE >> Bella Patti, incoming senior at Kelseyville High School and an outside hitter for the Knights’ varsity volleyball team, will be playing for the powerful Absolute Volleyball Club in San Rafael, the No. 1-ranked club team in Northern California.
Absolute Volleyball Club is ranked 40th nationally. Patti will be competing nationally with Division 1 and Division 2 players in the power-18-league division. She will train three times a week in San Rafael beginning in December while preparing for Absolute’s upcoming season.
“Just a hard worker, a kind and caring person,” Kelseyville volleyball head coach Donelle McCallister said of Patti. “She’s extremely good on defense; she saved our butt several times on defense during the (2024) season.”
Patti’s ability to anticipate what direction an attack is coming from is one of her strengths, according to McCallister. “She reads the ball really well. She’s one of the few that moves into the zone.”
Patti earned All-North Central League I second-team honors in 2024 as the Knights won the undisputed league championship. She also was named to the All-Lake County first team.
