AAU boys basketball team draws heavily from Kelseyville, Middletown areas

SAN JOSE >> The Lake County Express boys basketball AAU team won all three of its games last week at Henry T. Gunderson High School in San Jose.
The 15-and-under squad draws heavily from the Kelseyville and Middletown areas.
“This team played top-notch defense and team basketball,” Express head coach Chris Salmina said. “Unselfishness was the key to a championship weekend.”
Added Salmina on his team’s performance, “These kids played with aggressiveness and heart and a never-give-up attitude. There were too many standouts to name. It was an overall team effort.”
The team’s next tournament is April 27 in Fresno.
