UKIAH >> The Upper Lake High School varsity girls basketball team fell 71-11 to the Ukiah Wildcats in the 2024-25 season opener for both squads Tuesday night in Ukiah.
Upper Lake (0-1) was led by Alyssa Rave’s five points. Camila Martin had three.
“It was a very tough game for the girls,” Upper Lake head coach Raelene Cromwell said. “Passing, shooting, dribbling was rough.”
Both teams are coming off losing 2023-24 seasons – Ukiah was 7-20 and Upper Lake 5-17.
“We couldn’t stop the Ukiah offense,” Cromwell said. “They had some spectacular outside shooters and found a way to beat us in the key. Yes, we are rebuilding.”
