Terrace School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Middletown, opposite hitter Trinity Galvan served up 13 points, including five aces, and had two assists to power the Middletown Broncos past the Terrace School Vikings of Lakeport, 25-12, 25-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe had amazing defensive saves all night,\u201d Middletown head coach Vanessa Davis said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaquelin Nunez, the Broncos\u2019 middle hitter, logged a team best five kills on nine swings to along with one ace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGreat reactions to the ball,\u201d Davis said of Nunez. \u201cOverall my most improved (player) so far for the season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ella Delzompo, an outside hitter, added one kill, eight services points, six of which were aces. Other team leaders were middle hitter Grace Williams with six points and five aces, and outside hitter Emma Davis with four kills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd great serve receive passing that kept us alive,\u201d Davis said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOverall, Terrace was a great serving team that challenged us in serve receive,\u201d Davis said. \u201cWe fought back and made great passes all night. Our serves were on fire, only collecting four errors in total.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Middletown is home Monday to take on Lucerne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Obsidian def. Lucerne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Lower Lake, the Obsidian Bears swept Lucerne 25-18, 25-22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis was a great team win,\u201d Obsidian head coach Claire Alderson said. \u201cEverybody on the team played and contributed to it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obsidian improved to 1-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No individual statistics were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bears hit the road Monday to Mountain Vista Middle School in Kelseyville.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Galvan, Nunez power Broncos in win over Terrace School Lake County Sports on Facebook LAKE COUNTY &gt;&gt; The Middletown Middle School and Obsidian Middle School volleyball A teams notched wins during Wednesday action.
